Heart Rate (Max & Target Zones)
Max heart rate (220 − age) and target zones for exercise. Reference only.
What this calculator does
This tool estimates your approximate maximum heart rate (220 minus age) and a target heart-rate range based on a percentage of that maximum. It is a general reference for exercise, not a prescription.
What your result means
The zones are rough guides for exercise intensity. They do not replace medical advice. If you have heart conditions or are new to exercise, ask your doctor what range is safe for you.
This is not medical advice. A healthcare provider should interpret results in your context.
